The main areas of study at this site are: cooking, cleaning, laundry, gardening, and animal care. Clients also work on professional readiness by engaging in activities such as: interview and communication skills, personal hygiene, safety, first aid, and mindfulness.

Staffing ratios at JADE Garden are 1:6. The garden is located at 319 Rotanzi Street in Ramona. Laundry Day is next door, at 2330 Main St Suite D, Ramona CA 92065.
JADE Garden is a 1.75 acre property that boasts free ranging chickens, a family of pigs, bunnies and sometimes a puppy! We grow rows of wildflowers and sunflowers, which we sell at the Ramona Certified Farmers Market. Clients work on gardening skills, animal care and plant care. They have hands-on experiences, getting their hands dirty in the soil as they care for the critters and plants at this site.
Laundry Day is an indoor facility immediately next door to the Garden. Inside, clients run a fluff n fold laundromat, handling customers laundry needs. This experience provides important, hands-on experience using washers and dryers, as well as customer service skills. At this site, we also have a full kitchen, where clients learn cooking, meal preparation and safe food handling skills. Sewing, customer service skills, volunteering in the community and going on outings are important activities that clients have the opportunity to participate in, as well.
Customers can drop off their laundry for next-day or same day service at: 2330 Main Street Suite D Ramona. Laundry Day can launder clothing as well as bulky items such as bedspreads and large blankets. Sorry, we do not accept heavily soiled items or items with bodily fluids such as vomit, blood, or urine.
